Frequently Asked Questions

Can solar energy actually power air conditioners?

Yes. Our solar systems are designed to power inverter air conditioners as well as everyday household appliances.

A 5 kW system typically supports 1–2 air conditioners , while a 10 kW system can run several air conditioners depending on size and usage.

What happens at night or during a power outage?

At night, the house operates on lithium batteries supplied with the system.

Batteries provide electricity for lighting, appliances, and air conditioners for several hours depending on consumption.

What if there was no sun for several days?

During periods of low sunlight (due to dust or clouds), the system can automatically switch to the backup generator if it is connected, to ensure that electricity is always available.

Do you still need a generator?

Some customers keep the generator as a backup, while others rely primarily on solar power and batteries.

Our systems are ready to be connected to the generator , so that it is only used when needed.

How long do the batteries last?

We use LiFePO₄ lithium batteries designed for long-term use.

With normal use, batteries typically last 10 years or more .

How much maintenance do the systems require?

Solar power systems require very little maintenance .

We recommend cleaning the panels periodically (especially due to dust) with a simple system check to ensure optimal performance.

What is the required surface area?

The space required depends on the size of the system:

  • 5 kW system: suitable for small to medium-sized roofs
  • 10 kW system: requires a larger surface area

We assess the surface during the free visit .

Is the price fixed or can it change?

The prices shown on the website are preliminary prices .

The final price depends on the roof design, extension distances, and any optional extras.

A free assessment is always carried out before the final price is confirmed.

How long does the installation take?

Most residential installations are completed within 1–2 days , depending on the size of the system and site conditions.

Is solar energy viable in Iraq?

Yes. With abundant sunshine and rising fuel prices, solar power significantly reduces reliance on generators and electricity costs , while providing quiet and reliable power for the home.
